The consultation is continuing on the Space to Lead programme and we held further consultation meetings on the 21st & 28th October. The main topics are the Selection / Appeals mechanism and the proposed redundancy terms which were noted by the TU officials present.
We are asking for the unaffected workgroups to be notified ASAP so we can settle some of our members.
Last week as part of the Company Announcement’s the level E structure was shared. This as given us the first indications on teams going forward but which the boxes are filled around mid November the picture will start to get a little clearer. But then the Level E managers and the Strategic leaders will be building the Level D structure and so on.
There is no clear date for that at this point.
WE&T Training Day
Saturday saw the 2nd annual regional WE&T training day which although poorly attended ( 4 from STW) was very useful and some great information shared with the individuals present.
A very useful session but really basic was how to complete a Case Form. This showed exactly what’s needed and why.
Gavin Edwards came also from national who is Matt Lays replacement on the national WE&T. It was interesting to hear his views and direction for the national service group in the future.
We now have a date for the office move to Birch Coppice on the 22nd November but more information on this to follow
